Internet and politics 2

Of course, some will says that big telcos make billion with the internet. Still, music, movies, photos and old medias are loosing billion too. You can argue that a few big web sites are worth billion. But most of those big web sites will help people steal content from legitimate owners, just think Google, Yahoo, etc.. So we can say that this is just a transfer of wealth. So I believe that at best we have a draw between new profits that are made over the web and money that are lost because of the behavior of people on the web.

So beside money, why politicos will let the internet roam free. To be continued....

My first post on that blog!

This is an interesting conundrum. Why the internet is allowed to be what it is now? Why it is so big and getting bigger all the time with the benedictions of politicians when at the same time, the internet is the biggest repository of all the flaws (I'm being nice!) that they have? There is only one answer possible and it is that the benefit of the web is bigger than the drawback for the politicians. How come? Because they will know everything that is possible to know about you. I will continue on this later....
